Build-Up Pad

  • Purpose: Designed for horses with prominent withers or hollows just in front of the shoulders.

  • Build-Up Placement: The padded section is positioned near the front of the pad, filling in voids around the shoulder/wither pocket area.

  • How It Helps:

    • Levels the saddle by supporting the front end.

    • Prevents the saddle from tipping forward or collapsing into the wither pocket.

     

  • Construction: The build-up area is made from Impact Gel combined with felt/wool, creating a cushioned, durable support structure.

  • Thickness: Approximately 1.25” in the built-up region.
